IS BBL THE SAME AS IPL?
BBL is a highly advanced version of IPL. HOW LONG WILL MY TREATMENT TAKE?BBL is a quick procedure, typically taking around 30 minutes.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?The number of treatments needed varies from patient to patient. Your Riva clinician will personalize a plan based on the level of improvement you desire.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN DURING THE PROCEDURE?Your eyes will be protected with safety shields or glasses. Typically, there is no need for a topical anesthetic, however your Riva clinician may choose to use one on more sensitive areas. You may feel a quick, warm sensation as the light is absorbed by the targeted areas.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECOVER?This is a non-invasive and gentle procedure with virtually no downtime. In most cases, you are able to apply makeup, return to work and resume most of your activities immediately.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER THE TREATMENT?You may experience some redness that should resolve within a few hours. For some pigmented lesions, you will see a darkening of the treated area followed by fading and flaking off at a later stage.
