Dr. Nguyen is fortunate to enjoy two careers in medicine. As a practicing, board-certified musculoskeletal radiologist for over 20 years, he is an expert in diagnosing and performing procedures to treat musculoskeletal conditions.
In the field of Aesthetic Medicine and Wellness, Dr. Nguyen has received advanced training, preceptorship, and certification from some of the industry’s best medical aesthetic providers and institutions. Among his credentials are advanced certification in neuromodulators and dermal fillers, and certification in PDO threads, Laser and Light-Based Procedures, PRP Procedures, and IV Infusion Therapy. Dr. Nguyen is a certified provider of bioidentical hormone pellet therapy with Hormone Therapy Centers of America.
Dr. Nguyen received his bachelor’s degree from The University of California, San Diego, and his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh. His post-graduate education includes an internship in Internal Medicine at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, and a residency and fellowship in diagnostic radiology/musculoskeletal radiology at the Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine.
Dr. Nguyen’s patients love his gentle touch and comforting manner. His conservative approach, consistent results, and his easy-going and approachable personality have built his loyal patient base. His favorite procedures are PDO threads, under-eye fillers, and Sciton Halo and BBL treatments.
In his spare time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time with his wife, Leica and his son, Ethan, a student at Ocean Lakes High School. He was a volunteer coach for the YMCA and the VA Rush Soccer Club for many years and enjoys watching professional soccer and football.
